The most important part of my art is not that it's seen, it's that it transforms me. And through
it, each day I am renewed. It is my most selfish and rebellious act, and ultimately my most
fulfilling.
I don't look for dancers with technique, I look for dancers with heart.

It's the one move, no one can bite. You can learn someone's moves, you can change your
style, you can combine styles, you can build and change your body in order to dance like
someone else...but there's one thing that everyone can recognize in a dancer...it's when
they dance with their heart...and you can take as many lessons, and train, and spend hours
and hours in the studio, but that is the one thing you can't fake. And even if you do master
every technique, and develop yourself to become this unbelievable "physical" dancer...it's
always gonna be empty if it's not infused with your heart. I rather see someone dance
powerfully with their heart, as opposed to someone who dances powerfully. Technique is
out there, and can be easily attained by practice...but your heart - it is the rhythm that you
were born with...the rhythm you heard in your mother's womb. Learn to dance to that
first...that's your real power move...
